Episode Three: interventions, the housing crisis and a new prime minister

In Episode Three of the LGC News Round Up, editor, Sarah Calkin sits down with reporter Megan Kenyon to discuss this week's biggest stories for local government. Later in the show, Sarah is joined by deputy news editor, Jessica Hill to discuss her reporting into government interventions in councils. Episode Three was recorded on the afternoon of prime minister Liz Truss's resignation after just 45 days in Number 10 - Sarah and Megan discuss the mood among councillors, the latest on investment zones and social care charging reforms, and Megan's interview with shadow housing minister, Matthew Pennycook.
